The solid input shaft
from Santjer Performance is larger, stronger, and without the inherent lube
port stress concentration weakness of the stock shaft design. It’s able to
deliver these benefits without compromising fluid transfer rate; an issue
common to larger shafts that reduce port diameters for slight strength
increases. Direct hub spline length has also been increased for additional
clutch capacity. Torsion tested in excess of 4000 ft-lbs without failure, the
solid input shaft uses a proprietary heat treatment and ultra-high strength
VAR alloy. Now available in TrackMaster Transmissions, with Solid Shaft ready
Hi5 or ProForce 3D torque converters.
