You ask a lot from
your flexplate. The forces they’re put under are extreme and in high
performance applications the flexplate can slip; even with correctly
installed and torqued bolts! It only takes a small amount movement for the
bolts to loosen and allow the flexplate to oscillate against the crankshaft
causing costly and catastrophic damage to both parts. BD Diamond Bite Shims
